Well, they fixed the roads. Ooops, nope. The road wash-out was repaired by the FEMA recipients after months of ineffectiveness of our board.
The washout occurred in April of 2025. The road repair started in September of 2025, after some families applied for and received FEMA funds (the ones who actually used their awarded funds for the washout repair).
They refused to authorize funds to fix and maintain the other roads until after the January 2025 Zoom meeting (which Jerry had to call them out to schedule).
They held a vote to add wording to our governing documents to end the POA - and that vote was turned down by the property owners.
They held a vote to "authorize" the association to fix the roads that are dedicated roads to our association - a vote that was overwhelming in favor of fixing the darn roads.
Then, the board tried to remove the two directors that have not participated in all of the toxic nonsense. And, the property owners spoke once again - no to recalling Jerry, no to recalling Charlene, and no to authorizing after-the-fact the unauthorized incorporation attempt.
We urge all property owners to remain informed and involved. This association belongs to its members—not to a few individuals who think they get to decide when and how it ends.
